Atomium

These picture are from a trip to the Atomium in Brussels, Belgium.
It was fun, even though the inside of the Atomium was less exiting as we had imagined (exhibitions only, school trip much?), but had a great view over Brussels.

Make a Wish 2008

SHAPE has been
supporting the Make A Wish Foundation for 5 years and in 2007, 2720
people
participated, raising a
staggering 28,000 Euro.
All the money raised
goes directly to the Make A Wish
Foundation.

Red Soccer Ball

There are not many picture perfect summer days in Belgium. And if they come, they do in the middle of a working week.
Nevertheless, we had a BBQ in our front yard and the red soccer ball was the Star of the day

For a while I kept looking at our very first picture together and remembered how it was back then, contemplating how far we've come and how close we are now.

This Year's 4th of July party on Base was great!
It wasn't big, but with the right people (read = my friends) it was just right.

I just had to scrap this

DF left this for me the other day after the "Nobody in this country sells dresses bigger then a size 42" incident last week.

I extended the wall and the white board to make it look like my journaling was scribbled on it too.
